Peter Schiff comments on Barack Obama’s policies and the economic crisis. Peter Schiff advocates free market capitalism: the government was the cause of this crisis not the “free” market. What we need is less government, less regulations and more freedom. Schiff would have liked to see Ron Paul elected rather then Barack Obama or John Mccain. It was broadcasted on November the 3rd 2008.

The Party of No
Liberal pundits called Republicans the “party of no” for their opposition to Obamacare, Cap and Trade, etc. I think it’s good to say “no” to bad ideas. Congressman Ron Paul has been right to make a career of that. I wish Republicans supported him years ago. Now that Obama’s fiscal commission has come up with some [...]

Have you heard the latest smear tactic from the McCain/Palin/Fox News campaign team? You know, that one about Barack Obama being a so called “socialist.” Guess what, it doesn’t have anymore truth do it then their other smears like that Obama “pals around with terrorists.”
It’s important to realize that the entire basis of this “socialist” smear is that Obama want’s to allow the Bush tax cuts for the very rich to expire. The very same tax cuts that McCain voted against in 2001 and 2003.
By McCain’s logic guess who else is a socialist? John McCain in 2003! Does that mean McCain is now a reformed socialist?
The entire argument centers on the idea that Obama’s tax plan which calls for tax cuts for the majority of Americans and raising taxes on the very rich is somehow something very different and very new for America. This is not true. America has had a progressive tax code for a very long time. As has every other Western country. There is nothing new about a progressive tax code.
Furthermore every tax “redistributes” wealth. That’s the very nature of taxes. Unless John McCain is for no taxes at all (and how could he pay for his wars without taxes?) then McCain is also a “redistributer.”
Are you beginning to see just how ridiculous this “socialist” smear really is? It’s a complete distortion of reality. They know that. What they are hoping for is that the average American voter is too stupid to realize they are being lied to (again.)
To make even more clear how stupid the socialist attack is consider this: Obama’s proposed tax code would include lower taxes on the rich than there were during most of Ronald Reagan’s Presidency. Do you think the rich were hurting in the 1980s? Do you think that Ronald Reagan is a socialist too?
By the McCain/Palin definition everyone (this side of Ron Paul) is a socialist. It’s an absolutely dishonest and meaningless attack.
Another important point is that America does have socialist programs. Programs like Social Security & Medicare. And guess what, when these programs were introduced those on the right (Republicans) derided these programs as “socialist.” How have they worked out? Would you like Social Security & Medicare to be done away with? How about Public Education? Isn’t that socialist too? How about police departments? How about firemen? There are a lot of things about America that are “socialist” and guess what, most people rely on those socialist institutions in some way or another.
The dishonesty of this attack only proves once again how similar a McCain/Palin admin. would be to a Bush/Cheney admin. Not only are they exactly the same on all of the important issues but they tell the same kind of lies.
I’ve had some friends tell me that we (hunters and other outdoor folk) are in for a bad time because the Democrats are in the drivers seat. I suppose if you are a hunter on the level of the Bushes and Cheneys you might see a change or two. Personally, I expect things to improve. The next time I’m lifting a cold one with Warren Buffet, I’ll ask him what we can expect.
It seems the country keeps going through this cycle. The Republicans go in and spend us into a deep hole then the Democrats go in and try to dig us out. All the time Republicans are screaming about the Dems taxing and spending. We haven’t spent anything in the middle east over the last 8 years have we?
Me? A Democrat? Both parties have their faults. I’m only addressing the money right now and I’ve never had enough of it to ride the Republican bandwagon. Neither have any of my friends and acquaintances had enough. I’ll never be a “bleeding heart” liberal, but I certainly don’t like sitting by while people I know only through the news get all the breaks.
Obama and his buddies have just sent more money than I can comprehend out to the greedies to get the country out of its economic mess. Aren’t these the same folks that got us into this mess? We can’t put all of the blame on The car czars, oil barons, banker bigwigs, and self centered CEOs. According to congressman Ron Paul of Texas, Iraq has cost us far more than the publicly acknowledged $500 billion. The ongoing stalemate in Korea has passed the trillion dollar mark, and one man in the news recently bilked almost that much from a bunch of people who probably deserved to lose it and a lot who didn’t. And the printing presses never skip a beat.
As the public gains awareness of the fact that there is nothing but hot air backing up those greenbacks, confidence in our monetary system will continue its downward spiral. Our leaders of both parties seem to take the stance that we have no choice but to try to spend ourselves out of debt. At some point the rest of the world is going to realize that there is no hope of our ever repaying the staggering debt we owe to every developed nation on earth. Then what happens to the global “dollar”? Will the Luddites dream finally come true?
Maybe we are in for some bad times.
Alex Jones’ new documentary The Obama Deception takes a scathing look inside and behind the Obama administration. Alex Jones is a syndicated radio show host based in Austin, Texas. He also runs a couple of website the biggest being infowars.com, prisonplanet.tv, and prisonplanet.com. Watch Aliens in the Attic Online Free
His latest film is ostensibly about Obama but more importantly takes a peak behind the curtain to find out who is pulling this strings. As the title suggests, Obama is not actually making his own decision or writing his own teleprompter speeches.
The film has lots of big names from all walks of life. Jesse Ventura steps in for a cameo where he explains that there is no difference between his days in the WWE and politics. Ventura makes a case that politics is just like professional wrestling, where the people fighting each other on camera are really good buddies behind the scenes.
In the beginning of the film, legendary hip-hop artist and anti gang violence activist KRS-One starts out by making a comparison of the US government and Burger King:
“Barack is like the manager of Burger King. All presidents are, including Bush. It’s like this — when your fries are cold, if your burger’s not done right, you go back to Burger King — America, or your government — and you say, ‘My burger’s cold! I want new fries!’ First, you go to the cashier, that’s the courts. You argue to the courts.
“The courts, if you can’t get no justice with the cashier, you say ‘Let me see the manager! I want to go to the Supreme Court! I want to see the President!’ The manager comes out. ‘Hi. What can I do for you?’ Now, the manager can override the decisions of the cashier. But you never get to see the franchise owner of Burger King. Watch Aliens in the Attic Online Free
“If you really have a problem with your burger, you need to go see the franchise owner. We need to go to the top, or to the bottom. We need to go to where the real architecture of government is, and it’s not in a President. It’s in a global scheme.”
Then Alex Jones tries to bring that analogy to life by saying:
“If humanity has any hope of effecting real change for the better, it will not come from the Madison Avenue false reality makers, who have cast Barack Obama as the savior of the world.
“To alter our course from tyranny to liberty, to defeat the corrupt elite, we must get past the puppets and confront the real power structure of the planet.”
As for “the real power structure of the planet,” Jones describes them as the top of the pyramid, the global elites, the people who meet each year at the Bilderberg group.
And then, Jones backs up his words with action and bullhorns the elite confab Bilderberg when they met in Chantilly, Virginia.
Other big names featured in the film include historian and author Webster Tarpley, trends forecaster Gerald Celente, and presidential candidate Ron Paul’s brother Wayne Paul.
Right now the film has 2,148,879 views on one version alone. Watch Aliens in the Attic Online Free
